Professional Tax

6 months savings ( Covid 19 Lockdown was the best teacher)

Term Insurance * ( As soon as you have financial dependents )

Health Insurance

Using tax deductions like 80C (PPF) and 80CCD1B(NPS)

Equity ( Mutual funds / Stocks )

Gold ( SGB , Gold Funds )

This is a start for an Average Indian Dentist . Not the end . Study each option in detail before investing. The top 5 are compulsory for everyone. The remaining depends on individuals requirement and risk appetite.
